Waste of time
As many others have experienced, Argos denied my cashback claim for no reason whatsoever. Spent hundreds with Argos on the basis I would get some cashback compared to other retailers.
Took over a year to get to the point that it was declined too! False advertising by Argos and topcashback. The topcashback team are usually polite and helpful but unfortunately were not on this occasion, sending contradictory and unhelpful responses to my questions. Will never shop at Argos again

Don't trust Argos to do the right thing
Applied through TopCashback for a printer that I collected in store. When I went to the store they could not find the order under my email address, showed them confirmation and they had to do some work on their computer to get the order through to give me the product. Argos did not honour the Cashback transaction and it was only the brilliant TopCashback customer serrvice team that finally updated the cashback from their end - at least you can rely on TopCashback to do the honourable thing to retain customer service unlike Argos's affiliated provider.

Denied legitimate claims
Same as other reviewers - 2 claims from 12 months+ ago were denied. Reason given is nonsense, so this is really disappointing from Argos but also disappointing from TopCashback that they continue to advertise a merchant who does not honour cashback this frequently.

Argos never pay cashback
Cashback never tracks automatically so end up submitting a missing cashback claim. Argos come back every time refusing to pay even though the claims have definitely been valid and met all the terms and conditions.

Argos don’t payout
Like all other recent reviews Argos have failed to pay out on almost £100 cashback from a year ago. I have chased this throughout the year and have been told this week that TCB were not the last referrer, even though I have a date and time stamped photo to prove they confirmed it had tracked. TCB won’t entertain me sending it to them as proof. This is so disappointing as it was the main reason for purchasing from Argos through TCB.

I have to add to the discontent. It was 14 months before a response to my missing cashback claim. Rejected as "[Argos] don’t believe TopCashback was the last referrer". I never use other referral links so I can only assume they do not pay cashback. I would advise to use other merchants for similar priced items.

not paid despite timestamps indicating it was referred via TCB
Claim not resolved until a year after. TCB had chased to be told that yhey were not last referrer but cant really see how this was the case in view of timings on tcb access and order timestamp. TCB advise decision is down to retailer but they are improving processes so imo there is an Argos proble. Conclusion i will not use Argos again but will use TCB

Akin to theft!
False advertising.
Entice customers with promises of cashback, drag out the process for a year (purchase was December 2024) and then reject the claim. The only reason I used Argos was due to the cashback. Better customer service was available elsewhere for similar, if not cheaper prices.

Don't bother
I don't usually leave reviews as I see anything earned via top cashback as a bonus but so many people are saying the same thing about Argos so I decided to leave a review. I also waited 11 months for the outcome of my claim to be "They don’t believe Topcashback was the last referrer for your order". Argos seem to using this reason a lot! I have no complaints with Topcashback who always respond to any queries.

Poor streak
They used to be decent with cashback being paid, but like a lot of recent reviews, I've just had two 12 month claims closed because Argos "don’t believe TopCashback was the last referrer for your order". Seems to be a generic reply loads of people have received from them which is rather sus, assumingly to avoid paying out.

Always decline cashback
They will decline any genuine cashback; it happened to me several times, and I promised I would not use them again. This time missing cashback claim took more than a year, but Argos declined it, a very disappointing experience.
