Absolute nightmare!! Cancelled eshop after 24 hours even though they state 1st month is free and cooling off period is 14 days...but they still claimed almost £30 from my bank which was the equivelant of over 3 months fees!! Got email confirmation of cancellation but keep getting threatening letters from them that I owe them money!! AVOID!!!!

1and1 provide a mixture of professional and consumer products. I highly recommend managed services unless you are qualified to administer root servers. We have used their products for years and you really won't find the same specifications of equipment for the prices they offer anywhere else. They seem to be passing on their economies of scale in the price. If you want a more personal service though, be prepared to pay double or more for the same thing.
