Applied to transfer electricity supplier in january - has all gone according to plan without any fuss (approx. 6 - 8 Weeks). Cashback pending at time of writing. Customer services are extremely helpful and friendly if you need to call them and from my point of view have honoured their obligations in a timely and efficient manner.

The initial changing over to the company has been painful so far they have contacted me with all the info that I needed to proceed with the switch over but it appears that the switch over will be done over a six week period.

Cashback tracked and was paid without problem. However, getting hold of Scottish Power on the phone is a total nightmare and usually impossible. Email customer service also exceptionally slow with average response time of 2 weeks so far. Various errors with the switching process and impossible to talk to anyone at their call centre due to "high volume of calls being received". Online account management is no better!

Tracked almost immediately. However, the estimated payable date is given as 31 january 2009, and still today, 9th february 2009, it still has not appeared in the "payable" column. Looks like another con by Scottish Power. I am minded to cancel my contract with them altogether and sign up with another supplier.[Ed:topcashback-hi we are sorry for the delay - but we are confident this will come through in due course. I would certainly think it isn''t worth cancelling over this issue.]
