After receiving my phone in april, submitting two chases to topcashback, my account is still showing at 1p. I will not use www.Mobiles.Co.Uk again as after they have made the sale they do not want to know you. Why does topcashback take so long to write to the retailer, my second chase took a few weeks, maybe they should have a phone number to allow us to call when it goes wrong.

It has been more almost 5 months since I have purchased my phone from this merchant. Topcashback team was kind enough to raise a claim initially to trace the transaction. The status moved from tracked to confirmed but sitting there for ages. I am losing hope that I would receive it ever at all. Hoping topcashback would look into this mater.

Don't know if it's just me, but mpd started out by registering just 1p. This stayed like this for one month, at which point I raised a claim with top cashback. Then mpd added another £29.98 (Still not quite reaching the £30 promised, but hey), but clearly the tracking time was reset at this point. So currently, well over 4 months after my purchase, I only have 1p claimable, although the other £29.98 Is at least confirmed. The deals at mpd seem pretty good (although watch out for the early extraction of money from your account well before the three months' free insurance is up), but the cash back experience is dire. I'll be putting another claim in at the end of the month if mpd don't make my money payable by then.

After over 4 months of waiting my purchase , which initially tracked at 1p, is now payable, still at 1p. Service from mpd was good for the phone, but dire for the extras that were meant to come with it. Once you have bought, best of luck to you if you need customer service.

Repeat of my last feedback with the correct star ratings - the 4 stars was for quality of product - not the merchant! not holding my breath on this one. Didn't track correctly and took six monthes for the correct cash back to be paid.

Phone arrived quickly, but the comment stating that the 1p will change to £30 is wrong, wrong, wrong. One month later and it's still showing as 1p. Will I ever get my money? who knows?

It is now 2 months since I purchased my phone from them, it is still tracking at 1p and is due to be paid in about 3 weeks time. They also include £40 of extras with the purchase, which still haven't been received despite 8 phone calls and 3 emails. I will not be using them again, full of promises but fail to deliver.

Avoid!! placed order nov'09 and only got cashback of 1p instead of the full amount of £30. Over a year later got this message from topcashback: hi there, we have recently heard back regarding your missing commission claim. Unfortunately it appears that your claim could not be approved. Sorry that this has taken so long for you, we have been trying hard to get this pushed through for you but it appears that the retailer is steadfast in declining all of our submissions that they receive from us with regards to this transaction. We are very sorry about this; I do hope that any transactions you may go on to make in the future go a lot more smoothly for you. We are very sorry about this, kind regards, top cashback

Bought phone from them march last year, transaction never tracked, merchant contacted by top cashback shortly after, but never actually got the £30 they promised. My advice would be just don't bother ordering from Mobile Phones Direct - there are plenty more fish in the pond with similar deals and much better reputation.

Had phone 6 months, have submitted claim, chased numorous times but topcashback don't seem to be interested. They've got thier money!!!

Dont know who the hell viking are, the last chap reviewed them... Mobile Phones Direct are dire! same old story as everybody else... 6 Months since I ordered... Tracked at 1p then nothing. Avoid them! I have asked top cashback to remove them from their listings but they clearly dont care! wont use either company again!

My order did not track so I have been chasing this with tcb. After waiting seven months I got quite angry at tcb blaming the retailer so I contacted Mobile Phones Direct myself. They said the cashback only applies to particular handsets and did not apply to the handset I took with them. I argued this is not what it says on tcb's website, a chap called phil mead from mpd argued back to say it is not their fault, it is tcb's and he is effectively washing his hands of this matter in so many words. I have passed his emails to tcb but in the meantime I will definitely not be using this website again and suggest other people avoid Mobile Phones Direct. The cashback is not forthcoming from these guys!!!

Well it tracked at 1p as stated for a long long time this then became payable (wow 1p) anyway months down the line 7 months infact I finally recieved the remainder of the £30

Very poor indeed. I purchased a contract handset from them in mid december and submitted a claim one week later. After continuous nudges to tcb I sent admin a note asking if there is a problem? tcb says they are reliant on Mobile Phones Direct. Mine is not even tracking and I am owed £30 from six months ago. I do not hold any hopes of ever seeing this money.

I think the tracking problem is mobilephonesdirect fault as I have had lots of things that track as 1p but then go up to full amount when it becomes payable and never had a problem but these are a terrible company tried to order a phone with them but after weeks and weeks of no communication off them I eventually managed to get threw to them and cancel it and ive read nothing but bad reviews from them it seems if you have a good transaction with these then your very lucky I recomend avoiding mobilephonesdirect at all costs

Poor took about three weeks plus to recieve phone and the cashback is still shown as 1p not £30 after a month

Don't touch with a barge pole. Whilst they sent the phone out in good time, they have not sent me my headset or the correct memory card after 6 weeks. If you do a search online, you will see their standard policy of sending out the wrong size memory card to customers and making it very awkward to get it replaced. I'm still waiting...

Cashback tracked and paid at 1p - seems i'll be writing this one off. Also took over two months and two phone calls to send out free car kit. The email replies were ok though.

Update - my Mobile Phones Direct have now confirmed another £29.99 Cashback on my account, on top of the initial £0.01 So looks like I will get my cashback after all! happy days! hang in there people.

My transaction tracked at 1p and has not been upgraded to the £30 advertised. Seems to be a common problem judging by all the comments, maybe tcb can investigate?

In october 2009 I bought a £30 a month contract phone from this retailer using topcashback. Cashback never tracked and despite providing all the necessary information and many nudges the enquiry is still "waiting for retailer". Really disappointed with the whole experience.

Yeah, bought a phone 18month contract at £25 quid/month. Cashback tracked as 0.01P, and is now payable at 0.01P. So i've had to submit an enquiry, and it seems many people have had to as well, judging by the comments on here. Dodgy retailer? we shall see. Will let you know if I ever receive my cashback.

I sent topcashback a comment from these pages abut Mobile Phones Direct, I got a reply and suddenly my payment appeared!. So I advise doing the same if you havn't had any success.

Had same issue as others - tracked at £0.01 Only. Submitted claim months ago, no response from retailer and its now past payable date. Also had to ring them as my phone bust after 1 month, and they wanted nothing to do with it. You have to pay to send it off to be repaired. I'd avoid this company in future.

A bit dodge. My casback was showing £0.01 As confirmed and then payable over 3 months after I had ordered through them. I had to make several enquiries and then a claim before they upped the cashback to the promised £30 value.

Took a while to show correct cashback amount as being tracked and confirmed. (Longer than they say). Still waiting for it to become payable. Bit of hassle to be honest. Although could partly be my fault due to ordering.

I also have the cashback tracked at £0.01 Rather than the £30. In addition I have not received the free gift that should have been sent with my phone order - whilst the phone order went through without issue I would treat with care any other items from this vendor.

Below is from the bottom of the page in topcashback for mobilephonesdirect: so how long does all this take...? Expect transactions for this retailer to appear the following day, but can be a few weeks in some cases. Transactions are usually confirmed after about 14 days. They should become payable 1 - 2 months after the event date. Recurrences may be limited. So I would rather give them a little longer time before I give them a nasty reviews. Cheers.

Just a liar company, I got a contract with this mobiledirect.Co.Uk, which I should receive a £30 cashback. However, I only got tracked £0.01. Wrote to topcashback.Co.Uk, and nothing happens. Do not trust this website.

Recieved a message from topcashback and they have spoke to mobilephonesdirect about it. Hopefully it'll be fixed by this week.
