Below are the Consumer Reviews Listed in Date Order
| | Makes ironing almost pleasant | Written on 01 April 2008 | Have owned one of these for three months having previously purchased a variety of brand name steam irons that were of average performance before imploding a few days after guarantees ran out! Having spent just a little more on this Steam generator model, I think it unlikely that I would go back to the others and this is why... * Speed - steam is always there taking creases out with ease both sides * Efficiency - the iron is light so easy to move around and the large water tank that can be refilled by a simple press of a button allowing the unit to be taken to the tap (or fill it in situ), means fewer fill ups. * Ease of use - buttons are well placed, particularly the steam button on the iron that requires no effort. Being well marked with clear symbols you could operate this straight out of the box without more than a cursory glance at the instructions. * Fun - No...since when has ironing been fun? But it is less painful using this type of iron My only concern would be how long will it last, just noticed a warning light suggesting the calc cleaner cartridge needs changing. The iron still works fine, but I shall have to find a stockist for the cartridges and three months use seems a bit soon to me! | | |
