Take a look below and you will discover some very positive Holiday Autos review comments, although the feedback in general is somewhat mixed. While some TopCashback members have complained about their cashback being declined ot taking a long time to reach payable status, others have obviously had no problems whatsoever. Some of the comments left regarding cashback include “paid within three weeks of hire date”, “fast payment, highly recommended” and “quick and fast payment, really pleased”. One member has summed up their experience by saying: “Simple and never had any problems with Holiday Autos regarding cashback — very satisfied.”

It is not just the cashback process which comes in for praise, however, with others loving Holiday Autos as a company. Some of the remarks you will find include “a great company with competitive car hire prices” and “brilliant — would definitely recommend Holiday Autos”. The vast majority of Holiday Autos reviews on Trustpilot are excellent, with one customer saying: “Great value for money, car was brand new and exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and explained everything very clearly. Would definitely use them again.” Other comments include “quick and easy booking process — not the first time we have used Holiday Autos for this very reason”, “easy and honest service. Options for every budget” and “we have used Holiday Autos in the past and have to say their service is getting better year on year”.

The level of service from this merchant has greatly declined since they were taken-over by CarTrawler, a Company based in the Irish Republic, customer service are not helpful if there is a problem, they respond by saying they are only an Introductary Service any complaints must be directed to the hire car supplier. Also be aware you will be charged in Euro,therefore a hefty converstion fee will be charged by your credit card provider.

Although I had a perfectly valid purchase they wouldn't pay out the cashback, and looking through the forum I'm not the only one to experience this problem. Personally I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole - rumour has it they inflate the price anyway for TCB users. Go elsewhere and be paid.

Transaction tracked fine but remained as pending for a approximately a year. Holiday Autos could not find any record of my transaction despite me having email confirmation and having used the rental voucher abroad. I will think twice about using this merchant again.

The actual booking process with Auto europe is fine, then you get hit with the petrol charges by Goldcar at the other end whether or not you use the petrol and have to return it empty. It is poor and a rip off as I returned the car with quarter a tank and no refund but they will take 80 euros of the next customer.I waas also told that they were giving me an upgrade on the car and found my credit card charged 76 euros when I went home. Pretty bad. The car was not cleaned properly, dusty on the outside and had around 30 marks from sat nav useage on the windscreen. The tyre was soft and when I spoke to the person in the booth and was told that he was finished and I must go back to the desk in the airport. I went to nearest garage and inflated the tyre.

cashback never tracked and had to submit manual claim, that was 2 years ago. Somehow Holiday Autos managed to lose all trace of my claim and never paid, despite monthly nudges for 2 years. TCB were brilliant throughtout, not their fault that Holiday Autos are hopeless. I will never use Holiday Autos again.

It was really difficult to get cashback from Holiday Autos, they refused one claim entirely, the second I had to raise a claim for missing cashback and was forced to wait over a year. Booked the car Jan 2019, made the rental Sept 2019, finally got paid Dec 2020! The company is fine but their cashback performance is shockingly bad.

Don't bother unless you want to spend hours chasing your cashback. Currently still waiting for cashback from a boooking made 14 moths ago with hire completed in July, plus still not paid for a hire that took place 7 months ago. Last year had the same problem and in the end TCB paid me and were going to pursue Holiday Autos. On top of that expect no support from HA at all if you have problems with your car provider. Had issues with Goldcar and Sixt in the last year and had to pursue them myself, HA were a waste of time.

18 months later and still no cashback from HolidayAutos. Booked direct from TopCashback site, have supplied all info asked, still declined. This year we did not use HolidayAutos. One star because is min rating allowed, should be ZERO stars.

Holidays Auto kept changing the estimated payable date several times. In total I had to wait 45 weeks, not using them again.

I booked a car in January 2018 for a holiday in California in May of that year. Can was returned on time with no issues. I have not received cashback on this booking and the claim has just been closed for a second time without any explaination as to why. Communication from them has been non-existant. Poor customer service. Only giving one star because I have to.

I have twice used holiday autos through Top Cashback, followed link and completed online but one has been declined and one is still pending three months after the hire. I can't query it either as the bookings were made well in advance so by the time the issue arises it's outside the 100 day limit to investigate a missing claim.

Don't bother booking with holiday autos since you'll be lucky if your cashback is ever tracked and if it is you'll be even luckier to have this paid - even if you put in a support ticket with topcashback they find it impossible to progress effectively or timely and you'll just waste time and energy on this - book with Expedia instead - much smoother cashback process
