| | The Best Portable DVD Player! | Written on 07 July 2003 | | I bought this in the Army and have been using it regulary ever since. The battery is strong enough to last an entire movie, the screen is crystal clear. It is durable but somewhat fragile. (If that makes sense.) It is easy to hook up to a television so you can use it as a region free dvd player in your home...or just a sleek small neat dvd player. I suggest that if you are looking for a portable dvd player this is the one you buy, the screen is somewhat smaller than the rest but the picture is crystal clear and sharp. The only thing lacking is the onboard sound system, which is kind of weak. But that is why man invented headphones right, or just jack it in to the stereo. Neat product! Am broke but refuse to sell it. | | | A great Convenience. Not as good as the DVD-LV60EBS | Written on 21 March 2003 | What a wonderful device to have on the road. If you don't wish to carry your Portable PC everytime you travel, this is the device for you. It is small yet viewable. Light weight, and a great way to kill a few hours on a plain or train. The only drawback is that this model is a downgrade from the previous LV60 model. It has a smaller screen (1/4 of inch) and most importantly, the Battery life is only 2 hours where as the LV60 will play for 4-4.5 hours! a big difference when you don't have power outlets. If you can get your hands on an LV60 you will be much better off. Also, most of the LV60s were sold as Multi-Region players. If you happen to get one that is not, you just upgrade it with a DVD you can buy from several companies on the Iternet. | | |
