Casnback level great, tracks and pays quickly. Not had to claim so can't comment on their customer service.

Tracked quickly and the amount of cashback is great! I have used this company many times now and getting travel insurance with them is really quick and easy. The policy details are posted quickly and they send them by email too. (Fortunately) i've never had to make a claim so I can't comment on the service in that respect.

The transaction didn't get tracked immediately but after submitting a claim, we got the cashback within a few weeks.

Purchased my annual travel insurance policy with Direct Travel Insurance on 02/10/11. Policy is very good and offers everything I need at a very good price. However, the payable date on the cashback is 31 december 2011 and it has still not even been confirmed on 06 march 2012, 5 months after I purchased the policy. Good product and cashback *offered*, but very poor cashback payment time. Fingers crossed I will receive it sometime soon!

I purchased travel insurance from direct travel on 03/09/11 and after submitting a missing cashback claim, two nudges and a posted message, my cashback has still not become payable. In just over two weeks, it will be 9 months since purchase. I'm not impressed.

Tracked quickly supose to be payable end of december but still not recieved payment and its end of march.

Update from previous review - cashback never awarded and tcb say it is now unlikely to come. Straightforward transaction and had holiday months ago so very disappointed with this insurance company for not paying out what was due.

Manual cashback had to be submitted. Very slow. After several nudges and queries eventually got cashback paid.

Very quick to give cash back

Am only commenting on experience using the site/inputting medical conditions, therefore haven't graded. I have just spent 1 hour on this site putting 3 medical conditions. Each question took approx 5 minutes to register before next question. For one medical condition it took nearly half an hour as it was extremely slow and lots of questions. At the end of this there was a tick at the side of my name for me to decline or accept that they added another £4.(I only declared iron deficiency anaemia). There was no tick on my husband's name after I had spent majority of time so wasn't sure if they had been accepted. Overall they added £9 more to the policy but it didn't show it had been accepted against husband's so didn't go ahead buying after all. What a waste of time. I didn't expect extra charges as never have before so put it up to more than I want to pay. What a waste of time.

I've used the company for many years, including several years ago having to make a claim. They were outstanding in bringing my father back from spain after he was hospitalised. The measure of any insurance company is when you make a claim, and after that experience, have always used Direct Travel Insurance, as they continue to provide excellent value for money too.

Tracked quickly and paid out as per terms. Very pleased would recommend.
