I found that churchill offered the cheapest car insurance for me this year, after using a couple of comparison sites. This means that i'm already getting the cheapest insurance, plus the possibility of extra cashback from tcb. As per the listed t&c's, I filed a missing cashback claim straightaway. The cashback available was £35.35 (Which showed as pending within a day), but I found that quidco were offering £40 so I just completed a highest cashback guarantee claim and within a few hours, the pending cashback was showing at £40. Now I just have to be patient and wait a minimum of 3 months, as stated in the t&c's, before hopefully getting the cashback. I've always been extremely happy with tcb and the way they run their business...They are the best at what they do.

I purchased car insurance with churchill through topcashback and the premium was identical to when I did a quote earlier direct. So I am looking forward to my £50.50 Cashback!

Looking forward to £50.50 Cashback as advertised on topcashback frontpage - clicking to cashback came up with £25.25. When back to check after completing purchase and now Churchill Car Insurance has dissappeared .. Can only find churchill pet insurance ? will have to wait and see what tracks?

I'm posting this review before I take up my quotation from churchill, as I was a bit confused by the statement, on the topcash webpage for Churchill Car Insurance:- "•topcashback will only pay cashback on churchill policies to users who use bacs as their payment method." When churchill do not accept payment by bacs? the reply below from vicky, at topcash, explained the situation which I had not come across before. This also means you cannot take amazon or other vouchers. I hope it helps? hi, thanks for getting in touch with us and i'm sorry for the confusion. The comment "topcashback will only pay cashback on churchill policies to users who use bacs as their payment method" refers to how members receive their cashback and not how your policy is paid. My sincere apologies for the confusion with this. You can chose to pay for your policy via any payment method, then once you have received your cashback this can only be paid to members accounts via bacs. I hope that this helps and please write back if I can help you further. Best wishes, vicky

Purchased my insurance in october - still not received cashback and unable to lodge missing cashback claim as it's now over 100 days (even though info at the time said I had to wait 3 months to be paid cashback). It appears there is now a paragraph been added to say to lodge a missing claim within 7 days of policy start date to be held on file until the 3 month validation period is up - this was not on at the time I did this.

I bought insurance on the 29th july 2012 from churchill solely because of the promise of £50 cashback. The transaction showed up immedialtely, which isn't unusual. But as of today's date I haven't received the cashback, but all other purchases through tcb have been honoured. Very very unimpresed.

I am still awaiting payment of two car insurance purchases - one from july 2012 and a second one in august 2012 - totaling £ioi.50. I would be very way of dealing with this company again

Purchased car insurance cover late august 2012 for a policy start date of 1 september 2012. Cashback did not track so submitted claim. Topcashback doing what they can however no cashback (£50 expected) received to date even though topcashback have received a payment in march 2013 to cover september 2012 claims. I wish I had gone with another insurance company although topcashback cannot be faulted for their customer service. I personally would not recommend Churchill Car Insurance for cashback.

£50 Cash back heavily influenced my decision to go with churchill back in aug 2012...... Still waiting for them to show me the money.... Somehow don't think they will! will go elsewhere in the future and wouldn’t recommend.

We feel conned and let down by churchill for not responding to cashbacks claim. Owe us two cashbacks totalling over £75 but details were changed on the website shortly after our purchase. We are thoroughly disappointed with the top cashback process - one with their ability to collect the cashback and two seemingly allow churchill to keep getting away with giving out false info on their cash back claims. We took our policies out in sept 2012 in good faith through top cashback and we are waiting for some outcome but to no avail. A further claim was submitted in jan 2013. My advice to all is to be very careful when using churchill through top cashback. We will not be returning to churchill once the current policies have ended.

Purchased insurance in september, payment has been in confirmed column for months but no payment. Topcashback are putting their heads in the sand about the complaints and doing nothing. This merchant should be banned from tcb.

Car insurance policy purchased last july -cashback offered of £50 appears to have drawn alot of other people in too but as yet no sign of the money -only progressed to "confirmed". One of the worst experiences I have had with a merchant on topcashback. Still hoping for it to appear -will comment again if it does turn up!! but if none paid by july guess whether I will be renewing the policy!

I have lodged a claim although it has shown as pending. Also when you take out insurance with churchill you do not get the policy right away. They do not send it to your email as expected. Instead they manually post it by snail mail. I find this unacceptable. Other companies send the policy to your email. The whole reason I wanted it was so I could get tax on the car .. Now I have to wait 7 days before the policy turns up. This is very unfair . Be warned.

Cashback tracked ok but after 5 months still recorded as tracked with no further progress. Tcb advised patience but when I eventually decided to pursue it with a manual claim, tcb tells me they cannot chase claims made 100 days after the transaction date. £50 Is a lot to "lose" and influenced my choice of provider.

Car policy was purchased on 11 jul 2012 and it's now 07 jan 2013 and still no movement on my cashback. The cashback may not be a rip-off but that's not my opinion at the moment. One thing I can guarantee you is that I will not be using churchill for any insurance in future if this cashback is not paid.

Why do people give 5 star ratings to a company before they receive their cash-back!!! very strange!! I am one of the many suckers who bought my insurance through churchill because of the £50 cash back only to be still waiting nearly four months later. Haven't heard of anybody actually receiving cash back. Wont be using them again out of principle.

From what i've seen on here so far, i'm just another 'sucker'(sorry guys, who's apparently been duped. Was looking forward to cashback of £50.50 On the 9th december, but looks like i'll be waiting still this time next year! hope i'm wrong, but if not, will definately reconsider who I take insurance with again.

Bought insurance in august with the temptation of £50 cashback. I have never received it. I lodged a complaint with tcb but so far no joy. Very disappointed.. Feel misled. Only went with churchill because of the cashback offer.

Same as another buyer - bought my policy after being tempted by the cashback, though I have to admit that still the quote I was getting was the cheapest. However, initially my date of payment of cashback was shown as 30 oct and now it's changed to n/a. If I take cashback offers in the future, i'll probably consider a different insurance provided - more expensive, but less cashback, for example.

Been waiting since july for my cashback to move from pending. It was flagged as having been payable on 30th september and it's now 30th october with no sign of any advance of the status. I can't see why it's taking churchill or topcashback so long to process this transaction. I think with respect to churchill insurance for me in future it will be a case of buyer beware.

Took out a churchill motor insurance policy in november 2012. Expected £35.35 Which tracked quickly. Six months on, the £35.35 Is still shown as pending. Went to the merchant pages to see if anyone else is having problems, and see there is now an instruction to lodge a missing payment claim within 7 days of taking out the policy. This advice was not there last november. I feel cheated (even though the policy itself was very good value). It is now not possible to lodge a missing claim as more than 100 days have passed.

Bought car insurance in sept 2012. It didn't track, so I put in a manual claim. Usually topcashback are excellent at dealing with this and I have always got my manual claims paid. However, this one still hasn't tracked after 7 months. I would like to give tcb the benefit of the doubt here, and blame churchill for the issue. Either way, I cannot recommend churchill for cashback. Also can't comment on how good they are in terms of car insurance customer care (hopefully I won't have to find out!)

Glad I read the comments here before purchasing. I was just about to use this provider as their price was the cheapest taking into account cashback. After reading the comments I will purchase from another provider especially as I would not be able to take my cashback in amazon vouchers. Thanks for the tip off!

Almost 8 months and still my cashback hasn't been forthcoming. My insurance is a policy linked to my partners Churchill Car Insurance so it's not just one set of premiums they are going to lose at renewal time but two. How stupid must churchill be to think that this sort of behaviour will be considered acceptable and will lead to repeat business?

Craigalison - 05 Feb 2013
Bought my policy in august 2012 with the temptation of £50 cashback. I have lodged a complaint with topcashback and am very disappointed in the time it is taking to sort this out. It is now feb 2013 and although the claim is stil ongoing it is not looking too good. I am disappointed that when I look at the reviews and comments from others there seems to be a common problem with getting cashback from this company. Why then do topcashback keep using them. I feel that as a topcashback customer you should protect your customers from companies who continue to renage on payments and instead only deal with the companies who are reliable. The bottom line in as a loyal customer I loose faith in topcashback as a company for promoting such companies and failing to pay out on what they have promised. Please topcashback get serious with these companies and put pressure to payout or dump them. Also can you please stop putting the best reviews first and put the reviews by date order. This is extremely misleading to people.

Buyers beware! my purchase was acknowledged immediately, but the fine print of the terms and conditions says you have to do a missing cashback claim within 7 days of policy commencement - even though it tracked! I have just found this out now, and I will be too late to claim. Don't let anyone else get caught out with this trick!!!!

Cashback of £50.50 Was the only reason I went with this insurer as factoring in the cashback this was the cheapest option. However I have still not recieved my cashback. Why is the wait for this so long? churchill have taken my money and issued by policy promptly. Why can they not work so efficiently when it comes to paying the cashback? has anybody actually recieved their money?

Just a heads up - on the face of it,this is a very generous cashback offer. However, I had already got a quote for car insurance before I went through topcashback. What a suprise, the premium had increased by £50 - which is the cashback amount. Needless to say, I purchsed direct.
