Dont be fooled by the positive comments!!! read all reviews, still waiting since august for acknowledgement of cashback due. Topcashback should remove all aa services from their web-site!!! maybe the breakdown in communication will send us all merrily on our way so near to christmas.

Just thought I would say that I received my cashback with no problems earlier than predicted. Great deal, would recommend.

Received the full cashback I expected after 4 months, with no problems. Had to have my car towed by the aa after breakdown last week - I had to buy the required part from unipart but the aa man fitted it. At less than £20 p/a for this service after cashback its great value on a 12yo car !

Bought breakdown cover in july, with expected cashback of £42. After a couple of months the cashback amount was changed to £0.00 By the aa. I submitted a claim and it was finally available and paid in full in february. Frustrating service by the aa. Well handled and good service by top cashback. Patience required.

Re-reading the aa cashback deal, I realise that topcashback was to pay the cashback amount promised(£50.50) And not the aa. Why has this not been processed???? purchased in august, instead of advertising on tv, pay out the amounts due to current loyal cashback purchasers!!!!!!!

I was looking to take out cover here, but only the last 3 comments are pro, whilst the previous 34 are negative, so I think I will look elsewhere!

I completed an aa purchase just last night 20th june via tcb and am pleased to say the transaction has tracked almost immediately and is now correctly showing up in my tcb account.

Took up the aa's cashback offer last year and was expecting £50 back but even after two claims received nothing with no explanation why . I'm back this year to try again with the basic cover £21 offer but it doesn't appear to have tracked. Ah well...

Do not purchase if you do it to get the cashback. I purchased it 5 months ago and I am still waiting to get the cashback!

Very poor experience using topcashback, am still waiting for cashback since october! am very happy with the actual product, quick recovery from the aa when I broke down (twice).

Wish i'd read all these comments first too. Bought aa breakdown cover on 9th may, still hasn't tracked (for £20.50 Cashback) and I don't feel optimistic that i'll ever receive it.

Like many members who've posted, I took out a breakdown policy in jan. My £19.19 Cashback £19.19 Tracked quickly but then just before it was due to be payable, the amount changed to £0.00. As it's over 100 days ago, tcb are making it more difficult for me to put in a claim... And say I can expect to wait another 2-3 months. Will use another cashback site in future. What's odd is that while all of these comments are negative, the aa has ***s (3 start) for for members' reviews.. Very misleading.

Very similar experiences to other comments. Tracked okay at first but now payable amount says zero. I followed the rules and am disgusted that an organisation as large as the aa is defrauding genuine cashbackers and have been it seems for months. If this is how they treat customers then tcb should delete them from the system and have no further dealings with them in order to protect other cashbackers. Have been with aa for over 20 years and after this, unless resolved to my satisfaction - not holding my breath - will never deal with them again on any level. They are dishonest and are attracting customers under false pretenses. Tcb stop dealing with them now for the benefit of other cashbackers.

First cashback claim and what a waste, which I had read these comments beforehand. Do not take up this con, they do not pay no matter how long you wait and or try!

Very poor to track the correct amount. Was due £50 cashback, only tracked at £20. Been trying for 9 months to get the extra £30, but no response from top cashback or the aa. Very poor customer service, wouldnt use again.

Almost a year and still no payable money. I came across this....They are not only doing this in cashback websites. Read and decide for yourself. Http://www.Bbc.Co.Uk/news/business-13013183

Fraud! more than 6 month and payable is still £0. Not recommended. Emailed aa regarding some non-cashback issue. Only received reply a month later! and no answer given, instead asking me to provide my membership details again which was provided in my initial email. The most horrible experience in terms of cashback and customer service.

As others, didn't track, put in a claim and showed as pending £21 then suddenly changed to payable £0! this cashback is paid by topcashback so why the issues? obviously we all have proof that we have this breakdown cover, so come on topcashback, sort it out! a very bad experience, as they do not pay out!! beware. This is negative for topcashback!

Like many, it didn't track until after I submit a claim. Then it went from £21 to £0.00 At payable. A waste of my time. Never had any problem with rac. Avoid especially when the bait of £21 cashback is on offer.

I took out the £26 insurance with £19 cashback. At first the cashback appeared in my account so the transaction had been tracked and then suddenly it disappeared and became £0.00 With no explanation. I am currently pursuing this with topcashback who have given me prompt responses but no guarantee that my claim will be successful. I think it is very bad of the aa to go into a scheme like this and then not honour the cashbacks and if my claim is unsuccessful I will not renew with the aa no matter how good their price is on principle.

I signed up for breakdown cover last time the aa made an offer and despite chasing them no payment was made. No reason for cancelling cashback was given either.

I have just discovered that I am having the same problem with the aa cashback as detailed on these reviews. Took out breakdown cover in february with a £50.50 Cashback. My accounts specified a payment date of 31/05/11 but the payment never occured and the amount has now been set at £0.00. Now I am told it may take tcb a further 3 months to sort out - but if you look at the reviews, this same problem has been going on at least for six months. In the last few days the cashback for aa breakdown cover over £100 has been increased to £60 - how can tcb continue to advertise these rates if the aa are not making the payments?

Applied in january 2011 and didn't even think to check until a few weeks ago but find the cashback is zero. Why is tcb still promoting this offer when there are problems? they should stop offering it I am sure if the aa were not getting business form them they would sort out the problems fast!

Is it safe to do this one now or is my claim going to be declined as well.

Hi there, unfortunately, due to a technical issue a number of incorrectly tracked missing cashback claims were incorrectly declined by the merchant. The network that hosts this merchant's offer have been working with the merchant to resolve this issue and this should hopefully be fully resolved soon. We have been working with the network to ensure that any member's who's claims were incorrectly declined do not lose out on their cashback and this should automatically be rectified once this issue has been resolved. Please be aware that this only relates to claims for incorrectly tracked transactions. Our apologies for any confusion or inconvenience caused. Kind regards, top cashback

Don't take this offer. They don't and will never pay out. I have followed the rules, don't use comparision web sites, clear or delete all cookies, give them the your full details this includes your ordered number and membershio number. Some for the reasons why they will not pay are. • The merchant could not prove that your queried transaction has been the result of a topcashback referral, and therefore is not eligible for a commission (or cashback) payment i.E. Maybe because cookies were not cleared. • The merchant does not feel that you have met their terms for qualifying for cashback. • There may have been another entity involved prior to or during your transaction that your commission may have been awarded to, as they may have been marked as the referrer to this (e.G. Comparison sites). • The merchant is not happy with the validity of your transaction • the merchant may not have been able to locate your queried transaction, based on the information that you have supplied (especially that in which you have provided as your main ‘order number’). They will not pay.

I had the same experience last year with another cashback site and my 75 wasnt tracked, no cashback paid, I took the highest level cover, aa says another cashbakc site pays the cashback, the other cashback site said aa rejected the claim, waste of time..I would never go down aa route through cashback..

Above comments very valid, no excuses here, tcb are supposed to pay this, surely they are not doing a greasy palm?

Bought breakdown cover on 2nd sept. Despite doing what I always do re clearing cookies & internet history etc, it still wasn't showing as pending by 28th sept. Submitted a missing cashback query with tcb, but not holding my breath for aa to cough up. I wonder if it's because I once payment was made I cancelled by direct debit with aa, however, I wanted to buy 1 year of breakdown cover, opted to pay it via debit card on the aa site, yet they took a couple of extra details and set up a dd. Nowhere on tcb or as far as I could see on the aa site did it state that payment would be by recurring annual dd, so this shouldn't affect my cashback claim. I bought a years breakdown cover and expected £21 cashback, however I doubt i'll ever see it. At least I didn't choose a more expensive policy with them, and at least i'll know not to by an aa breakdown/car/home insurance policy ever again (despite being a repeat previous customer of all 3)!

It says clearly that the cashback is provided by top cashback and not aa so it is topcashback who are not paying over the money. I had this experience on another cashback site and did not get £46 cashback for car insurance from kwiksave. Is cashback a scam on any site?

Worth noting that this is for immediate cover. If you're currently covered elsewhere and shopping around after getting a reminder notice from another company then maybe best to wait until this expires before you book with the aa online - otherwise you'll be paying double for the overlap period. Seems a big hassle for the aa to allow customers to defer the start date for online bookings - apparantly it's easier for customers to cancel all their information and for the customer to go through the hassle of rebooking this after their current cover expires. Apparantly the aa can't change the online start date (?) think maybe i'll shop around some more and go with one of the lesser known companies who seem to throw in european cover too. It seems a good deal but must say I was certainly left very unimpressed on my first contact with the call centre.

Previous comments on aa cashback experiences seem to be missing! cashback £50.00 Paid on time for breakdown insurance exceeding £100.00 - Was cheaper getting higher cover with cashback £50 than lower cover with lower cashback. Took weeks and weeks to correct cashback amount from £19.00 To £50.00. Impressed all the same.
