Website cashes in on online shopping

AN ONLINE cashback business has moved into bigger premises after doubling its workforce in the past 12 months.

The website offers online shoppers the chance to earn money every time they buy from a range of high-street names – once registered you go via the site to make your purchase and it passes on the commission it receives from the retailer. It makes money from advertising placed around the site.

Unlike some other cashback sites, TopCashBack passes on 100 per cent of the commission it receives on online purchases – and up to 110 per cent for regular users – because it makes its money via advertising.

AffiliateFuture and TopCashback.co.uk have launched what they claim is the first holiday price comparison site that integrates the cash back earned in the search results.

Top Cashback said it will work on making the cash back search, which has been live since last month for testing, more visible to members of the site.

Giles Parnwell, head of travel at AffiliateFuture. said: “This product represents incredible value to the consumer not only in terms of savings on their holiday purchase but also time as they don’t have to trawl through numerous sites to make a decision on their purchase.

Top CashBack, which won a Web User Gold Award last year, has been spruced up.
In our previous review of Top CashBack, we said it was "unlikely to win any design awards", but it now looks bolder, livelier and much more colourful. You can see the latest deals at a glance, click straight through to take advantage of them, and increase the amount of money you'll get by 10 per cent using the site's Top-Ups scheme. The homepage also offers easy access to Top CashBack's main features. With its smart design and simple shopping system, this generous cashback site just got even better.

...now making greater use of cashback websites such as TopCashBack... "What's clear from our latest Trust index is that many consumers aren't taking the time they once did to browse a retailer's website. Instead, they expect to be shown what they want the moment they are directed to a site following an online search, said Pontus Kristiansson, CEO of Avail Intelligence. There is clearly little margin for error, and greater personalisation is the key to success for retailers looking to convert that web traffic into paying customers."
